Conservative Party Leader the Honorable Andrew Scheer at the personal meeting in Richmond Hill. Andrew Scheer elaborated about his vision of our nation and prospects of developing potential political, economical and social strategies. It was a good chance to raise an issue on human rights of Canadians having legal issues abroad. Andrew Scheer underlined the importance to adhere to the international principles of law in dealing with Canadians requiring legal assistance abroad. It was discussed that his Government would protect its citizens using all diplomatic and legal routes to ensure the proper justice is served to Canadians while abroad. Andrew Scheer acknowledged that his Government will cooperate with any initiative to strengthen and better protect Canadians abroad.
BLSA Canada is a national, non-profit organization, founded in 1991. The theme of this years 27th conference was "Advancing the Vision: Continuing the Spirit of Excellence." We attended the conference to support the organization's promotion of diversity in the legal profession through unity and leadership for current and future Black law students.

The 10th ceremony of awarding the best lawyers Legal Awards 2016 took place on May 24 at the InterContinental Kyiv Hotel, bringing together market professionals who traditionally got to know whose achievements would be recognized by the respected commission this time. The commission included the key opinion leaders of domestic law. There were handed out awards in 37 categories. L.I.GROUP Law Firm was among this year’s winners, recognized in the category “Law Firm – a breakthrough of the Year.” Partner law firm L.I.GROUP and its team managed to achieve their goals and to demonstrate before the market high level of their achievements, social activity, professionalism and success of implemented projects.
